This ring features a translucent rosarita stone in a sterling silver shadowbox setting. This stone is clear so I took the opportunity to stamp the visible backplate with tiny hearts. Rosarita is a unique, rare gold refining byproduct, unintentionally created in the 1960’s when beach sand was smelted down for its gold content. This glass-like material was left behind. Handmade using traditional silversmithing formation, stamped with my maker’s mark and .925 for sterling. Fits a size 6 finger
