Jewelry Care Tips

Sterling silver naturally tarnishes over time due to body oils, chemicals, and humidity. Natural turquoise is soft and can sometimes change color for the same reasons. The best way to slow this process is to follow these simple care tips.

1. Remove jewelry before showering, swimming doing makeup/hair to limit exposure to chemicals. (Lotions, soaps, shampoos, chlorine, cleaners)

2. Store jewelry in dry, airtight container when not being wom. This helps to keep the humidity out. (Bathrooms are too humid)

3. Do not leave jewelry in direct sunlight as heat can change turquoise color.

4. If your silver does tarnish, use a silver polishing cloth such as Sunshine polishing cloths.
